Listed buildings are a part of painting and decorating I absolutely love to do.
The white house shown above as an example was a property that was particularly derelict and in a very bad state of repair. I was asked to look at this project by the developer. A site meeting was held with a specialist from Keim mineral paints to work out a spec and then began the task of redecorating the property.
The project was carried out over many months due to liaising with other trades to ensure that there was no downtime with the renovation. The whole time of the project the aim was always to produce a very high standard of work that the house deserved.
The gallery below includes before and after photos of the painting and decorating renovation of this beautiful listed building. I hope you agree that the final finish was respectful of the age of the building.
Since carrying out this project I have been involved with a number of projects on listed properties, including the house next door to the white one and a beautiful 400 year old mill. Watch my case studies for updates on the stunning mill renovation coming soon...
